Annual General Meeting
The AGM will take place at 11.30 on Saturday, May 16th at the Baptist Church, Crow Lane, Rochester. Light refreshments will be available. Prior to the meeting we will meet at 10.45 in The Vines for a walk round our beautiful park. Please come along if you can – a lot has been going on over the last twelve months!
We are hoping more people will join our committee so that tasks can be shared around. Please get in touch if you would like to help; it is not onerous as we only meet every couple of months. In particular, we are looking for a new Treasurer as Hugh Hawkins would like to stand down.
Membership
Please note that memberships are due for renewal on 1st April: £5 individual membership.
Payment can be made in cash at the AGM. If you are unable to attend the AGM please ask us for alternative ways to pay.
Members’ visit to Rochester Cathedral Rose Garden
The Friends have booked a guided group visit to the Cathedral Rose Garden on Wednesday, 10th June. Advance booking and payment is essential, cost £12.50. Please note this is a members’ only visit.
Cherry Picnic 2026
The Cherry Picnic will take place on Saturday, 11th July , 11.30 to 3 pm. If anyone is able to help with setting up, running a stall or clearing away, please get in touch.
We will be making a donation to the local branch of Macmillan Cancer Support.
